National Poetry Month’s got me taking stock of all the wonderful collections I’m lucky enough to own. I was going to organize them but instead I’m just sitting on the floor browsing the most beautiful words.
I feel like this collection was written for me to find in this exact moment. I am literally reading and weeping. It hits way to close to that raw emotional center I call a heart but it’s helping me understand that sometimes pain is the way through.
Read as much as you breathe. Read as long as you live.
